PARTS   OF   SPEECH

 Words are divided into different kinds according to their use; i.e. according to the work they do in a sentence.

 The parts of speech are eight in number :--

 1. Noun - - - - - - - - - - Naming   Words

 2. Pronoun - - - - - - - For a Noun Words

 3. Adjective- - - - - - -Describing Words

 4. Verb - - - - - - - - - - Action Words

 5. Adverb - - - - - - -   Describing (verb) Words

 6. Preposition- - - - - Relation Words

 7. Conjunction- - - - -Joining Words

 8. Interjection - - - - -Exclamatory Words
