proverbs


PROVERBS
        
 A proverb is a saying which imbibes wisdom in it. It is defined as " a short pithy saying in general use. " It is used in everyday speech and writing. Some proverbs with their meanings are listed below. Knowledge of these proverbs will enable the students to learn good English. :---
